Happy Birthday Kathy!
Happy birthday my darling sister.
I have noticed recently that you are no longer on facebook. I can think of a number of reasons why one might choose to put down the popular picture book. Perhaps this is a good time to try something totally different.
This time in one week, your cake (right) will be all gone, and this birthday eGreeting will have vanished, leaving nothing but a clear, white page. This corner, for as long as you see fit, will be entitled 'uploads', because this describes what is possible in this area. Here you can upload anything you want to as your own publisher and printer, with your own penmanship and who knows, perhaps, readership!

This is how: do you remember how easy it was for you to send me those photos the other day? Well that's all that's involved for you to upload to this area. Posting prose with a picture, whether a diary entry, travelogue, food journal, one-off post, spontaneous rant or thoughtful reflection can be achieved effortlessly whenever the urge takes you. Even if that's in a year's time, all you need to do is type the prose into the IM, and attach a photo via the seer file transfer, marking the purpose clearly after which it shall be promptly uploaded.

One needn't be at all concerned about becoming an overnight cosmic void celebrity - that is like going out onto a sandy beach and looking to find gemstones. But that doesn't mean you can't bask in the beauty of the simplicity of this creative canvas, a platform of exploration that is what you make it.

p.s. I am aware Dave is out of shot on one photo. Perhaps you might feel like making this a family site? Either way Dave should be centre-frame too! The following is an example of how a simple blog could change the world. I'm not saying it's child's play for everyone but for this young girl it came quite naturally: http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2012/jun/16/martha-payne-never-seconds-blog-climbdown
